Before You Write
Common questions are already answered on the site. Depending on what you need, the fastest path may be one of these:
-
Choosing a tool
Start with the full tools ranking, then narrow down with our head-to-head comparisons. If you have a specific stage or use case, the category pages group tools by problem.
-
Retention strategy questions
Our guides cover dunning, win-back campaigns, health scoring, and onboarding. Many questions about sequence design and measurement are answered in the guide FAQs.
-
Vendor pricing
We don't publish quotes on vendors' behalf. Pricing changes often and varies by configuration, so our pages point you to each vendor's official pricing page - that's where you'll find current terms.
-
Corrections
Found an error in a review or comparison? Email us with the page URL and what's outdated. We take accuracy seriously and will update or correct content when warranted.
A note on review requests
We're always open to evaluating retention tools we haven't covered yet. If you'd like your product considered, email us a short overview: the retention problem you solve, your current pricing model, and any public documentation or self-serve pricing pages. We prioritize products we can evaluate with a free trial or demo - we don't guarantee coverage, and we don't accept paid placement or editorial input in exchange for a review. If we do publish a review, it will include our honest assessment of trade-offs, and you'll be able to offer corrections for factual errors at any time.
Contact FAQ
How fast do you reply?
We're a small team, so there's no staffed ticket queue. Email is answered on a best-effort basis, usually within a few business days. Urgency doesn't speed things up exponentially here - but corrections about factual errors do get prioritized.
Can you help me pick a tool for my specific business?
Possibly, and for free, but honest constraints apply. We don't have access to your data and can't guarantee suitability, so our answers will always be framed as starting points - feature lists, fit questions, and evaluation checklists you can run yourself. A good first step is our tools directory, then the comparisons for the shortlist.
Do you sell leads or placements?
No. We don't sell leads to vendors, we don't accept payment for ranking placement, and we don't offer "featured listing" packages. Affiliate links, where they exist, don't change editorial decisions.
I work for a vendor and want to correct something in a review.
Please write, and include the URL. If a review contains a factual error about your product - version, feature, integration, pricing terms - we want to know, and we will fix it. We don't accept pre-publication approvals, but we do accept corrections.
Can I republish or quote your content?
Brief excerpts with attribution and a link back are fine. For anything longer, ask first - we usually say yes and just want to know where it will appear.
Site map for common journeys
If you're writing to ask "where do I start," these are the four routes most readers take through the site:
| If you want to… | Start at | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Pick one retention email tool | Tools directory | Compare finalists side by side |
| Decide between two named vendors | Comparisons | Check trade-off sections and pricing caveats |
| Build a retention program, not just pick software | The SaaS retention guide | Follow with dunning and onboarding guides |
| Understand a category before searching | Category index | Read the category's "how to choose" section |
Response etiquette
To help us answer well on the first try, include a sentence or two of context: your team size, rough stage, and what you're actually trying to achieve ("reduce failed payments," "improve trial conversion," "add CS coverage without hiring"). Specific questions get specific answers.
One thing we can't do: negotiate vendor discounts on your behalf. We have no purchase authority with any vendor and no commission-sharing arrangement tied to your deal. All commercial terms are between you and the vendor.
Yes, we read everything
If you saw us recommend something that failed for you, or skip over something that works, or get a product's positioning wrong, that is exactly the message we want. Site-level trust survives corrections only when corrections actually happen, so they are our highest-priority correspondence.
A note on anonymous feedback: we cannot reply to a message that has no return address. If you want a response, leave one.
